Give Scite_a try – a tool for analyzing scientific literature. Scite helps identify and understand research papers and allows you to see how scientific publications cite each other. Work with the AI assistant and get research-backed answers.

What is Scite_?


Scite is a tool for analyzing scientific literature that helps identify and understand research papers through advanced citations. It allows users to see how studies have been cited, whether they have been supported or refuted, and provides the context of citations within the broader scientific debate.


This tool uses full-text publications and its deep learning model to provide the following information for a given publication:


How many times it has been cited.


How it has been cited by other authors.


Whether the citations provide supporting or contradicting evidence for the cited claims.



How can I access Scite_?


You can easily access the database through our Electronic Resources Portal!


  • Visit the Scite page on the Electronic Resources Portal here Scite_


  • Click on the "View Online" section for availability details – Charles University | Access via: EZproxy.


  • If you are logging in from home, the system will prompt you to log in with your CAS login, and then you can start using the tool as well.


  • Pokud se přihlašujete třeba z domova, vyzve Vás systém k přihlášení Vaším CAS loginem a pak již můžete s nástrojem rovnou pracovat také.



If you want to use additional features of the database beyond searching, you can create an account.


How do i get started with Scite_?


Working with the database is very user friendly. You can use the AI assistant – which means you can directly ask questions about studies and scientific articles that interest you.
