This form will guide you through creating a Declaration of Artificial Intelligence Usage. In this generator, you will summarize whether AI was used in the creation of your work and describe how it was used.
Charles University supports the use of generative AI tools by students, provided that such use is transparent and complies with the legal framework of the Czech Republic, as well as the regulations of Charles University and its respective faculties.
This is a basic version of the Declarationt. We recommend checking whether your faculty requires a different format or consulting with your supervisor.
You’ll be asked to list the AI tools you used, indicate the dates of use, and describe how you used them. The goal is to clearly and transparently explain how generative AI contributed to your work.
1. Start by selecting the first AI tool you used in the “Current Answer” section. Then click Continue.
2. Enter the time period during which you used the tool, and describe as precisely as possible how it was used. Then click Continue.
You’ll notice that your first AI tool will now appear in the “Recorded Use” section. All tools you enter into the form will gradually be listed here. This allows you to easily keep track of which tools you’ve entered and which still remain. You can also remove entries in this section.
3. In the “Current Answer” section, select the next AI tool you used. Then click Continue and repeat steps 2–3 until you’ve recorded all AI usage.
4.Once you’ve recorded all uses and are ready to generate your statement, select “No additional tool” in response to the question “Which AI tool did you use?”
5.Your generated statement will appear at the bottom of the form. You can copy it or download it as a text file.
